An article on the guidelines for the Use of RFID Technology in Transfusion Medicine has been published by Savant. It digests Volume 98, Supplement 2 of Vox Sanguinis. The guidelines were developed by the Task Force on RFID by mandate of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT). This article provides highlights from those guidelines.
