A Proven Product

Medirisk’s initial design was carried out by Risk Management Specialists at the Medical Defence Union. These designs have been further refined by Savant based on many years of input from NHS Managers who have used Medirisk as an important tool in their clinical governance work.

Entry of incident data is easy as we can scan in paper forms, thus avoiding any rekeying issues. We also have a PDA and web based data entry system (see below) that means that forms can be completed wherever the nurse is at the time the incident is discovered.

Generating professional graphs, charts and reports using Medirisk's comprehensive reporting tools. The charting functions can be used to ‘drill-down’ into the underlying data to view individual events, spot trends and summarise incident data.

Users can anonymously export incident information from Medirisk, for upload as XML to the NPSA website. Medirisk can also record complaints and PALS correspondence relating to an incident.
