Salary:

£35,000 to £45,000/annum (Negotiable Dependant on Experience) + annual bonuses, Private Health Insurance, and other benefits.

Summary of Position

Our growing business requires a talented and enthusiastic permanent full-time developer to work on varying projects ranging from life-critical large-scale developments to web applications and small apps catering to a growing customer base. For the right candidate they will work on a range of projects with other highly motivated software developers, contributing to technical design sessions, development, maintenance, testing and a degree of customer support as and when necessary. They should have the ability to:

You will work with the development team to build function rich applications, which build on Savant’s solid reputation for developing slick, well-designed software and apps. The position requires flexibility, reliability and along with problem solving skills, the ability to work in a busy environment under pressure. There will be a high degree of autonomy and self-management expected. The successful candidate will report to the PULSE Co-Ordinator / Development Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for:

The design and development of user-facing features;
Design and development of server-side code;
Building reusable code and libraries for future use;
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and related code;
Optimisation of applications for maximum speed and scalability;
Developer testing and validation processes;
Collaboration with other team members, customers and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

DOCKER
Kubernetes
CI/CD via Azure DevOps
Web Servers (IIS) and Windows Server
Active Directory

Required Skills:

Experience level 5+ years
Strong .Net development skills using C#
UI development using WPF, XAML and MVVM
Entity Framework Core
API design and development
Knowledge of database development techniques
Knowledge of OOP best practice and design principles
Knowledge of source control packages such as Git or Team Foundation VC;
Writing unit tests and other forms of testing
Azure (preferred but not essential);
