Hematos is designed for use by blood transfusion centres and hospital testing laboratories. Hematos is a highly configurable and customisable software system, which has been implemented in a modified form by the Bacteriology section of the National Transfusion Microbiology Laboratories (NTML).

Developed by France's Medinfo, Hematos is a global multi-lingual product, available in languages as diverse as English, Chinese and Spanish and is in use across the world.
