Andy Ashford had the privilege of representing Li-LAC at the Dynamic & Unconventional MATERNITY professionals convention, LetsTalkBirth, held at the Britannia Sachas Hotel in Manchester. This exclusive event was designed to foster a comfortable and memorable experience for all attendees, emphasizing the importance of live interactions. The convention featured live theatre performances, including “LABOURS of LOVE” by Ren Forteath and the Fledglings Theatre Company, as well as a special presentation by Bethan Dear, director of ‘The Vagina Monologues.’ The agenda included vital discussions on topics such as FGM, placenta, freebirth, father inclusion, perinatal mental health, and birth trauma, alongside hands-on workshops from esteemed organizations.
